As the many planes of existence twist and turn, sometimes alternate dimensions align perfectly. For brief moments on the time scale of the multiverse, these conjunctions allow objects to slip from one world to another, sometimes unnoticed, sometimes causing chaos.

One such conjunction occurred between Earth and Neemoss during the Dark Ages. These two dimensions couldn't be more different. Physics in the alternate plane is more akin to magic, and its corrosive effects create worlds filled with monsters and cruelty, of which Neemoss is the best example. When objects from Neemoss appear on Earth, they are still imbued with their magical essence, which was quickly discovered by healers, alchemists, fakirs, and assorted snake oil salesmen when their magic actually began to work! However, the situation will definitely worsen when the Conjunction intensifies and the first witches of Neemoss cross over to Earth.

Help the heroes master their newfound magical powers as they defend their land from the malevolent witches and the many apprentices they have summoned. Or control the Witches as they complete their rituals to ravage the Earth!

Dark Rituals: Malleus Maleficarum is an asymmetrical one-to-many board game for 2 to 5 players. A team of humans control a small group of heroes who defend the villagers from a single player wielding the nefarious Forces of Evil. All players manage a stamina pool, which they pay for their characters' actions. The game is dynamic with little downtime: turns alternate between the two forces, with a character on each side taking one or two actions each turn while they still have stamina.

The game is organized by scenarios with unique objectives. Scenarios can be linked into a longer campaign or played separately if your group is more casual. Story scenarios, game mechanics, detailed miniatures, and lush modular boards bring the game world to life.

Can you use the magic of Neemoss to defeat the invading horde? Or will you complete the Dark Rites and summon the ultimate evil?
